This post is about how inner work doesn't take time, but gives you time, even if you invest time at first and a short, conscious pause and engagement with inner work can turn out to be a timesaver that can save you years of stress and effort.
Many people think that if they want to change something, for example, stop living out 'destructive' patterns, they have to DO something to get to that point.
The note: "You want to change something? Then finally do something!" However, it is only of limited help (if any)because it addresses the symptoms rather than the cause.
You can change your behavior, and with effort and dedication, it might work for a while. However, if your thinking doesn't change, you'll soon find yourself falling back into old patterns.
Cause and effect are in this order:
Thinking 👉🏾 Emotion 👉🏾 Action
That's why, with our inner work and insight coaching, we begin with the mind, the root cause. This is where a 'correction' or 'new perception' can easily enter the mind, if there is a willingness. A new perception, experience, and thus action are the natural consequence, which then also makes it less susceptible to relapses.
